The screen area shows very light scratches, but that is the only wear I can see. I don't have the rest of deck, so no way to test it, however, know that is came from a working system in car which was sold without it. That was about 9 years ago and it has been in storage since then. This is the removable face plate and control unit from a Sony XR-4800 cassette deck, with its protective case.

The faceplate was lost at the time car sold and only turned up later. I would describe the condition as very good.
